While the nation has seen an increase in the crops production, stakeholders have highlighted the need for the Federal Government to intensify effort to boost local food production.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development recently inaugurated the exportation of 72 tonnes of yam to the United States and the United Kingdom.
